Bosasso port is a man made port approachable from North East (NE) on, the a transit in the line True of 11' 174.46 N 49' 10.59 E. the Safe water mark is marked by a conical safe water mark in a position of 11' 08.05 N 49' 09.94 E.

The port is entered between the two break waters on the transit in Line 138'.

The Bosasso Port is into jetties:

Jetty No.1:- is the main jetty of 153 Meters Length with a depth of 6.5 m Alongside. It has 8 bollards spaced at a distanceof 20meters The jetty is a complete concerete structure.

Jetty No.2 :- is a jetty of 117 meters in length with depth of 3.5 metres Alongside the jetty has two landing berths spaced at Distance of 18 meters, The jetty has 13 bollards spaced at a distance of 9 meters.

Jetty No.3 :- is a jetty of 98 meters in length with depth of 3.5 meters alongside the jetty has 13 bollards spaced at distance of 12 meters.

Jetty No. 4 :- is a jetty which joins jetty no.1 and jetty no.2 and is of 96 meters in length. It has depth of 3.5 meters alongside and has 9 bollards spaced at a distance of 9 meters.

The port is approached from the NW on the in line of bearing 138' from The Safe water mark. The Depth of the port is 7.5 meters is available in side the port laterally up To 195 meters, from jetty No. 1 minimum depth of 5.1 meters.

The Nature of the bottom of the port is Sand and Soft mud.
